SMC is seeking to add a Press Brake Operator to its team. This position requires the use of a press brake to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates.

The successful candidate will consistently produce quality work at an acceptable level of productivity with minimal supervision. They must be able to prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required per job specs. Skills needed include basic computer and math skills; the ability to read, interpret and follow plans; the ability to use measuring tools.

Physical Requirements include being able to operate the press brake; having good visual skills for alignment; prolonged periods of standing; pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 pounds at a time. At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work is preferred.
